Conditions and patterns

The rule builder supports condition-based tests, pattern-based tests, and combinations of both. Examples include indicator thresholds, selected scanner patterns, and defined entry behavior.

A visible rule is easier to audit than an undefined hunch. The app keeps the building blocks on screen so the test remains explainable.

Stops and targets

Backtests can include stop and target logic such as percentage, ATR, price, or pattern-derived levels where supported by the rule type.

Those settings shape historical results. Changing one assumption can change the outcome, which is why the result belongs beside the rule definition.
