Watchlists organize attention. They do not become lists of securities to buy or sell.

What watchlists are for

A watchlist helps group symbols for review. It can keep chart context, scanner context, news, and Shariah screening easier to revisit.

A symbol appearing on a watchlist does not mean it is suitable for a trade.

Symbol research can involve sector information, recent news, screening status, chart behavior, and backtest artifacts.

Keeping those items near one another reduces tab switching and makes assumptions easier to inspect.

ZadVest includes a PatternWatch workflow for symbols monitored by the scanner.

That workflow narrows scanner attention to selected symbols without turning scanner output into a recommendation.
